He said Ms Fennell had spoken to his brother-in-law about the crash and he had been trying to get the driver to change his claim.

"She said, 'Well, the driver isn't going to change his claim and he's just going to claim he was just driving away'," Mr Johnson said.

"That's exactly what he didn't do. He made his claim and got paid - then he went after me and he's got this wife and children."

His lawyers are trying to persuade the court that the judge didn't make the right decision.

The Blues currently are missing out on all four first-round picks in the next round, one of which is the fourth overall choice.

Lets be real, who the hell is really buying the Blues a fourth-rounder? But hey, they're getting a second first-round pick because there are too many good players in that class not to.

Why not? The Blues still have the No. 5 pick, which is exactly what they got from the Predators. This year, Minnesota received its first fourth-rounder from the Sabres and a fourth-round pick, which was not even available until they traded them two picks that year from Florida and St. Louis respectively. That said, if you're going to trade the fourth-rounder, why not swap the fourth-rounder for a fourth-round pick?

Just make sure the trade is for a player that the Blues actually need, because if you pick the wrong players out of the first 100 picks, the Blues will never be able to get a legit shot at a top-tier prospect because of the team-specific rule that requires all first-rounders to play for their draft club.

So why not do the opposite? If you just stick with a first-rounder and two second-round picks for the second-to-last pick, it wouldn't require a trade because of the team-specific rule.

That second-round pick could go to the Stars to address the need for depth. The Blues could also move the third and sixth spots in the draft, but that would require a trade. So instead, the Blues could have the ability to move as many of their draft picks as they want in order to add to their pipeline.

Just make sure they pick the right players with that second-rounder in mind.
